Boyce Williams - Excellent progress! I agree completely about the therapist/terrorist comparison, that is as true as it gets. I also agree with your thoughts on it. every drop of sweat is lube for opening the doors to send you home. I’m proud of you Cuz!

mark martinets - Hey Will! I’ve been getting all the updates from FB & Don- sounds like you’re making great progress- Kudos for you! I know you won’t stop until yr back to 100%. I wish you a fast recovery.
Yr description of the ‘pilates therapy’ reminded me of how I felt when I was first learning to ride dirt and trying to keep up with Don, Marco, & you! LOL! Though I think I actually enjoyed my ‘torment’.
I know you have a tremendous support system, but if there is ANYTHING you need and I can help, now or in the future, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Take care my friend,
~Mark

Mike Sullivan - What was is Confucius said about a journey of a thousand miles? I love that determined expression on your face, Will. I can feel the agony the way you describe it, but your expression gives up what can only be called “Will Power”! Keep striving, my friend. You’ve got a big crew pulling for you.

Karen and Steven Cheney - Hi Will, Just happened to click on your blog in my favorites and started reading then backtracking to the archives then realization of what has happened and then the intake of breath and yet smiling as I read. How brave, courageous and determined you sound. You are making progress. We will put your name on our little white boards that we each have with others that we are remembering to pray for each day. You are putty in the therapists hands suspended on the gait. You brought a smile to my face. It does sound like progess, slow but sure which is sometimes the best way. What a wonderful photographer you are and I know that you will continue on with gracing us with your wit and skill and love. I know I have never met you but the stories that Steven has told me have brought much joy into my life. You will be thought of in our home every day as we open that fridge for a snack or a meal or to stand in front of it and say, do I really want to eat that right now? and it will bring a smile and we will pray and continue praying for you and Carol as you recover, recoup, and regain your life. Blessings, Steven & Karen Cheney

Jim& Deb Georgitis - Will- Jim and I have thought about you a lot since leaving Craig. Hang in there, because there is nothing like waking up in your own bed, next to the one you love, sleeping as late as you want and picking out your owm supper!
The weather here in Maine has cooled down and the trees are turning colors early this year. We’ve had a turkey hen and her near-grown chick in the yard every day, and are still being harassed by the coyote pack. Jim helped me in the garden yesterday and has taken on the chore of doing the dishes, which is a great trade as I’m doing other things and can sure use the help!
Jim still experiences areas of numbness , mostly from my neck up according to Deb (not really!). Staring active PT today with a new set of terrorists–any words of wisdom on negotiating?
Will, continue to peresvere-you’ve got what it takes to get there–from one who’s on the same road, just ahead of you slightly!
Take care–Jim & Deb
